SME Finance 2019 explores how access to finance enables small and medium-sized enterprises to grow, create quality jobs and strengthen economic resilience across emerging and frontier markets. This third impact report evaluates the contribution of the Loans for Growth (LFG) Fund to entrepreneurship, employment and progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Based on a four-year study covering 12 low- and middle-income countries, the publication analyses SME development, employment growth, working conditions, asset accumulation and financial performance, providing further evidence of the long-term impact of SME finance.
