SME Finance 2018 examines how access to finance helps small and medium-sized enterprises grow, create jobs and contribute to sustainable economic development in emerging and frontier markets. This second impact report assesses the progress of the Loans for Growth (LFG) Fund and its contribution to entrepreneurship, employment and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Based on a four-year longitudinal study across 12 low- and middle-income countries, the publication analyses SME growth, employment, working conditions, asset accumulation and financial performance, providing evidence of the long-term impact of SME finance.
