Symbiotics opens new offices in Armenia and India

January 25, 2022

Symbiotics, the leading market access platform for impact investing, announces the opening of offices in Yerevan, Armenia and Delhi, India.

Alexandr Fando, Regional Manager for the Caucasus & Central Asia region, heads the Symbiotics office in Yerevan. Symbiotics has been present in the region for 15 years and has, so far, partnered with more than 50 financial institutions. This new office aims to strengthen our long-standing presence in the region and further support our growth.

Having our own office in the region should allow Symbiotics to enrich its expertise in markets in the Caucasus and Central Asia, as well as improve the company’s visibility with local players and peers.” said Alexandr Fando.

Prashant Bhardwaj, Regional Manager for South Asia, is heading the office in Delhi. India is the leading impact investing market and where Symbiotics has its highest level of investment activity. The choice to open an office there was therefore natural: it will help us get closer to our partners.

With the opening of an office in South Asia, Symbiotics will be closer to market participants, which will help us grow our exposure in a diversified manner. The new office will help strengthen existing relationships and foster new relationships, with a focus on supporting impact investment companies via the issuance of green and sustainability bonds in the region,” said Prashant Bhardwaj.

We are enthusiastic about opening these offices, a move that is inscribed in our strategy to further affirm our presence in these markets, close to our partners, where impact investments actually occur,” added Symbiotics COO Yvan Renaud.
