Roland Dominicé co-founded the firm in 2005. He currently serves as the executive of the holding company and as the managing director for affiliated business lines. Before co-founding Symbiotics, Roland spent three years as the CFO of BlueOrchard Finance. He also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva in management consulting, at McKesson in San Francisco in corporate finance, and at UBS Switzerland in institutional asset management. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Geneva and another master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago.

Amy has worked as a lawyer at Symbiotics for seven years and currently oversees the general counsel, governance, and impact matters of the firm. Prior to Symbiotics, she worked at a full-service global law firm and various international postings. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College and a juris doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School.

Piercarlo is CEO Gera & Partners (FS Digital strategy and transformation, Fintech business angel, social innovation). He sits in the Advisory Board of various Fintechs and Tech players. From 1987 to 2019 he was at Accenture, where he was in Global Leadership Council, and in the last 20 years Senior Managing Director of global businesses (FS Strategy, Distribution & Marketing). He served personally FS clients in most European countries, USA, Canada, Brazil, Russia, Japan, China and South East Asia. Piercarlo is Swiss and Italian national. He holds an MBA from Wharton Graduate Business School (Honor list) and a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano

Christèle Hiss Holliger brings a wealth of experience from a 30-year career in banking and institutional asset management, with senior executive roles in sales and people management. She started her career at BNP Paribas, where she worked as an Institutional Sales Manager in Paris and as Investment Strategist in Geneva. Later, she joined Pictet Asset Management and became Head of Institutional Clients in Geneva, then CEO of its Singapore operations, covering Southeast Asian institutional clients. She was then appointed Global Head of HR for Pictet Group, and a member of the Group Executive Committee. Christèle recently retired from her executive career and joined the boards of L’Occitane International Group and the Pictet Group Foundation.

Sandrine Massiani brings a wealth of experience from a 28-year career in microfinance, SME banking and development finance with senior executive positions in risk management and staff development. She started her career at BNP Paribas as Financial Controller and then Head of Management Reporting in Frankfurt and Singapore. Later, she joined IPC, the leading German development consulting group, and eventually joined Procredit Holding in Frankfurt, the SME banking group they created, as Regional Coordinator for Africa. She was later appointed as HR coordinator for the entire group, and then as Group Head of Audit, HR, IT and Risk. She eventually joined the Group Executive Management Board, where she spent 8 years.

Daniel Corrales is a respected strategic financial leader known for his expertise in reinforcing the positioning and accelerating the growth of private banks and asset managers. With a successful track record across esteemed institutions, Daniel has consistently driven transformative success in the financial services sector. Daniel's journey, encompassing pivotal roles at JP Morgan, EIM, Dside Consulting, Newtone Associates, Chappuis Halder, and his recent tenure as Vice President at Capgemini Invent, reflects his ability to navigate complex market landscapes with prudence and insight. Equipped with an MBA in Corporate Strategy from HEC Geneva, Daniel seamlessly integrates academic insights into his pragmatic approach, underpinning his dynamic leadership style. His history of facilitating growth for private banks and asset managers is a testament to his well-honed skills.

Yannis joined Symbiotics in 2007 as a Senior Market Research Analyst. After a 3-year intermezzo (2011-2014), working notably as risk manager for an innovative Impact Fund, he rejoined Symbiotics as a Portfolio Manager, before taking charge of our Discretionary Mandate team in 2017. Before Symbiotics, he held various functions in finance and development at the United Nations on Trade and Development, ILO and Capital International. Yannis holds a Master degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute in Geneva as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Globalization, Social Regulation and Sustainable Development from the University of Geneva. He has been a Certified International Investment Analyst since 2011.

María is responsible for Symbiotics Asset Management’s legal, risk and compliance affairs. She joined Symbiotics in 2014. Prior to Symbiotics, María worked for over twelve years as an in-house legal counsel in the mainstream asset management industry in Geneva and Luxembourg. María holds a master in law from Universidad San Pablo-CEU, Madrid (Spain), a master in European Studies from Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and a Diplôme d’Etudes Juridiques et Economiques de l’Union Européenne from the Université de Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne, Paris (France).
